🌙 Zodiac

Chris Lynch’s zodiac sign is Cancer. According to astrologers, the sign of Cancer belongs to the element of Water, just like Scorpio and Pisces. Guided by emotion and their heart, they could have a hard time blending into the world around them. Being ruled by the Moon, phases of the lunar cycle deepen their internal mysteries and create fleeting emotional patterns that are beyond their control. As children, they don't have enough coping and defensive mechanisms for the outer world, and have to be approached with care and understanding, for that is what they give in return.

🌙 Chinese Zodiac Signs

Chris Lynch was born in the Year of the Tiger. Those born under the Chinese Zodiac sign of the Tiger are authoritative, self-possessed, have strong leadership qualities, are charming, ambitious, courageous, warm-hearted, highly seductive, moody, intense, and they’re ready to pounce at any time. Compatible with Horse or Dog.

Chris Lynch grew up in Sydney where upon completion of high school he embarked on a search for his passion. This search lead him to discover the craft of Acting. He auditioned for and was accepted into the Theatre Nepean Performing Arts program at The University of Western Sydney (UWS) where he earned his Degree in Theatre - majoring in Performing Arts.

He later returned to UWS to complete his Graduate Diploma in Education in Drama. He has taught drama in various high schools and independent colleges. He has also taught English as a second language and been an in house Trainer and Assessor for various corporations and businesses.

He has performed on stage in many plays throughout the Sydney theatre scene and appeared in TVC's, short films and feature films in Australia including 'Hoges', 'Australia Day', 'Thor' and 'Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Men Tell No Tales' as well as corporate video productions.

More recently he has made the venture into writing and his first play 'Shadows' secured funding from HOTA in their 'Incubator' program that supports the ongoing development of local playwrights. The play was work shopped over a period of three months in conjunction with a dramaturg which culminated in a public performance at HOTA - Home of the Arts - for an audience of HOTA benefactors.

He has since written his second play and working on his third. He has also written a comic semi-autobiographical book based on the sometimes bizarre life of an artist and is currently writing his first fictional novel and series of children's books.

Before joining NYFA as an Acting Lecturer he was teaching Acting for the Screen for local Acting Agencies and privately and is now also embarking on writing film scripts. He lives on the Gold Coast with his wife and daughter.
