Upon earning his degree, Brett moved to New York City where he was an actor for 10 years. After retiring from the business, Brett returned to the academic world where he received a Masters in Music and Advanced Certificate in Vocal Pedagogy from New York University.
He is now an adjunct faculty member at NYU-Steinhardt and teaches Business Skills to the out-going Musical Theatre Grad and Undergraduate students, as well as producing their Industry Showcases. He is also a private coach and adviser with Broadway Artists Alliance.
Brett has been a talent agent with Carlton, Goddard, and Freer Talent in New York City for the last 6 years. This very busy office currently has clients in many platforms of the business including television, film, and Broadway.
