Brett Hays has produced/managed over twenty feature & TV films over the course of thirteen years and is an active member of the Directors Guild of America (DGA) as a Unit Production Manager. In 2006, he became co-owner of the newly formed production company, Shatterglass Studios and has built it up to be an Emmy award winning production company in Illinois.
In 2015, Brett created the film development company, Shatterglass Films, which is now developing multiple independent film projects. Having produced/managed over a dozen films, Brett's filmography expands through a wide range of films including A24's "Slice" starring Chance the Rapper & Zazie Beetz (Deadpool 2), IFC Films' "An Acceptable" starting Jamie Lee Curtis and Tika Sumpter, Netflix's "The Last Laugh" starting Chevy Chase, Richard Dreyfuss and Andie MacDowell, Disney/Freeform's "The Thing About Harry", and Netflix's "Thunder Force" starting Melissa McCarthy and Octavia Spencer.
Brett also produces films with MarVista Entertainment ("Holiday Heist" and "Friend Request") as well as with Dark Sky Films ("Girl on the Third Floor" and "Broadcast Signal Intrusion"). Brett is developing multiple projects like Tim Seeley and Mike Norton's "Revival".
Brett is also the co-founder and member of the board of directors for the CU Film Society, a 501c3 that is known for their Pens to Lens K-12 screenwriting competition & film festival.
