Taylor has written original music for Universal Pictures, Paramount Pictures, the Walt Disney Company, Dreamworks SKG, the Discovery Channel, National Geographic, Coca Cola & Fox Television, amongst many others.

In December 2013, he won 'Best Original Music' at the Monaco International Film Festival for his emotional score to Fear of Water (2014), awarded to him by Jury President, Academy Award Nominee, Roland Joffé.

Taylor began composing music at the age of 19 and went on to study music composition at the University of California, Los Angeles with composer & orchestrator Lennie Moore. Taylor has also trained professionally with Emmy Award-winning Hummie Mann and Grammy Award-winning Mark Mancina.

Taylor's work spans a multitude of genres and shows, including, but not limited to The Ricky Gervais Show (2010), Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution (2010) (Emmy winning), Comedy Centrals 30 Rock (2006), Two and a Half Men (2003), The Big Bang Theory (2007), Netflix's Orange Is the New Black (2013), Ray Donovan (2013), _How To Get Away With Murder (2014)_ (QV), and the _Kroll Show (2013)_.
