At "CHIKARA The Sordid Perils of Everyday Existence" on November 17, 2007, he essentially threw a match against Shane Storm, ending Storm's losing streak. It would later be revealed that Storm was the one who passed the counter to the CHIKARA Special to Mantis who gave it to Chris Hero (Chris Spradlin).

Hydra turned tecnico (face/good guy) and he and Tim Donst left the Order and became the Sea Donsters. That ended when Donst turned rudo (heel/bad guy) on Hydra at "CHIKARA Young Lions Cup VII Night III" on August 16, 2009.

Donst sent Hydra out of CHIKARA at "CHIKARA Throwing Life's Instructions Away" on November 21 2009. Dinsmore adopted a new gimmick of Leslie Butterscotch of the tag team the Flames of Love in the Wrestling Is.
