Born on the Mediterranean island of Cyprus and after serving two years in the Cyprus National Guard as a Tank Corps Commander, he moved to New York where he received his BFA in Theatre Arts, Performance Sequence at Hofstra University (2004), studied under Richard Southern at the School for Film and Television and got his MFA in Theatre Directing, at the New School for Drama, Actors Studio Drama School (2008).

In 2018 he received the prestigious Artist of the Year Award, at the Cyprus Theatre Awards. In 2017, he was nominated for the Best Actor Award, for his work in "Demonen". In 2002 and 2004 he received the Distinguished Service Award for his outstanding participation in the Hofstra Theatre Productions of "Stage Door", "Romeo and Juliet", "Smile" and "Hedda Gabler".

In 2003 he won the Best Actor Award for his work in "The Three Sisters".He is a member of the International Federation of Actors (FIA) and a member and Vice President of the Actors Union of Cyprus (AUC).

He is one of the Founders and Directors of Midas Touch Productions, a Theatre Production Company based in Cyprus and UK and he is a member of the Greek Cultural Center of New York, were he worked as an Actor and a Director.

Andreas is also one of the Founders of the-NEST, a Harlem-based nonprofit theater company committed to the development of contemporary and innovative theater. He is a faculty member and was a Professor at Hofstra University, Department of Drama and Dance, where he was teaching Acting and Theatre Appreciation and he is now a Professor at "Vladimiros Kafkarides" Drama School, where he is teaching Acting.

Some of his favourite Film credits include "The Bullet Within" (2018), "Boy on the Bridge" (2016), "Sanctioned" (2016), "In Half" (2015) and "All about Jack" (2004) winner of the New York Anthology Film Archives Award.

In the summer of 2004, his voice was given to the Discovery Channel International documentary "Marathon".2010 marked his return to his homeland, Cyprus, where he started working as an actor at the National theatre of Cyprus (THOC).

There, he has appeared in over 20 theatre productions. He has worked with all major TV Networks in Cyprus and he is now starring at CYBC's Period Drama, "The Copper Years" (2019).
