His first professional job was in the theatre performing with Helen Mirren and Alan Rickman in Anthony and Cleopatra at the Royal National Theatre in London. Adam has worked on London's West End and has appeared in numerous British television shows, most notably in recurring roles on Peak Practice, The Chase and the BBC's flagship show, EastEnders. Adam now lives in Los Angeles where he has guest-starred in Supernatural, Nikita, Body Of Proof and NCIS. He has also recurred in NCIS:LA. Adam has starred and guest starred in films for Universal and Sony. Most recently Adam appeared in ABC's hit prime time show, Once Upon A Time, as Brennan Jones, Hook's father.Adam is also a voice artist, voicing lead characters for major video games such as Dead Island and Middle Earth; Shadow Of Mordor. He has performed the body movements for Daniel Craig in James Bond 007 Bloodstone. Adam was nominated for Best Vocal Ensemble in the BTVA Video Game Voice Acting Awards in 2014 for Middle Earth; Shadow Of Mordor.

In 2009, Croasdell confirmed that he would be the body double for Daniel Craig in a 2010 released video game, in which he plays the role of James Bond.

2011

Croasdell guest starred in the American show Supernatural, portraying the Norse god Baldur in the 19th episode of Season 5, "Hammer of the Gods". He also starred in Body of Proof series 2 episode 9 – "Gross Anatomy" as Ronan Gallagher which aired in the US on 29 November 2011 and in the UK on 1 March 2012.

2012

He played Colonel Elmer Ellsworth, the first conspicuous casualty of the Civil War, in the 2012 film Saving Lincoln.

In 2015, he portrayed Brennan Jones, the father of Captain Hook, on the ABC fantasy drama Once Upon a Time.
